South Valley Chamber to Honor 2025 Titan Award Recipients & Small Business of the Year
SANDY, UT— The South Valley Chamber of Commerce (SVC) announced Jeremy Andrus, President & CEO of Traeger Grills, alongside his wife Kristin Andrus; Amy Rees Anderson, Managing Partner of REES Capital, and Katy Welkie, Chief Executive Officer of Primary Children’s Hospital and Vice President of Children’s Health for Intermountain Health; as recipients of the 2025 South Valley Chamber Titan Award. Since its inception in 2009, the Titan Award, the highest honor given by the Chamber, has recognized business and community leaders who demonstrate long-term commitment, civic engagement, and exceptional impact in Utah.
“This year’s honorees exemplify the values the Titan Award was created to celebrate: vision, leadership, and dedication to building stronger communities,” said Jay Francis, President and CEO of the South Valley Chamber. “Amy, Katy, Jeremy, and Kristin represent the very best of Utah’s business and philanthropic spirit.”
The honorees will be celebrated at the 16th Annual Titan Awards, presented by The Larry H. Miller Company, on October 29, 2025, at the Grand America Hotel in Salt Lake City.
“The Titan Awards give us the opportunity to celebrate individuals whose leadership is improving lives and shaping the future of our state,” said Rob Brough, South Valley Chamber Board Chairman and Executive Vice President at Zions Bank. “We are grateful for the example Amy, Katy, and the Andruses set, both professionally and personally.”
The 2025 Small Business of the Year will also be announced at the Titan Awards event. Now in its fourth year, the award recognizes a local company that exemplifies entrepreneurial excellence and meaningful community contribution.
“The Small Business of the Year award honors not just performance, but purpose,” said Brian Epperson, Chair of the SVC Small Business Committee. “It shines a spotlight on businesses that are small in size but large in impact.”
The 2025 Titan Awards will once again be emceed by local TV personality Deanie Wimmer, and will feature remarks from Jay Francis and Rob Brough, as well as entertainment and special guests.

Honoree Biographies
Jeremy & Kristin Andrus
Jeremy Andrus is the President and CEO of Traeger Grills, where he has led the company’s dramatic growth and brand reinvention. A proven business builder and visionary, Jeremy is also known for his leadership at Skullcandy and deep involvement in Utah’s business ecosystem. Alongside him is his wife, Kristin Andrus, a passionate community advocate known for her work to hands-on service and philanthropy. Together, the Andruses embody a partnership driven by purpose, innovation, and generosity.
Amy Rees Anderson
Amy Rees Anderson is the Managing Partner of REES Capital, an angel investing firm she founded to support entrepreneurs and startup companies. She previously founded and led MediConnect Global, one of the world’s largest health information companies, which she sold in 2012. Amy is a well-known speaker, author, and philanthropist, and has received numerous accolades including Ernst & Young’s Entrepreneur of the Year and the prestigious Utah Business CEO of the Year. Amy’s leadership is grounded in a deep commitment to empowering others and giving back.
Katy Welkie, RN, MBA
Katy Welkie serves as CEO of Primary Children’s Hospital and Vice President of Children’s Health for Intermountain Health. A lifelong healthcare leader and pediatric advocate, Katy has overseen major expansions in pediatric care access, innovation, and research. Under her leadership, Primary Children’s has remained nationally ranked and continues to set the standard for child health in the region. Katy’s work is defined by a vision of “The Child First and Always” a principle that guides her impact both in Utah and beyond.
