Women in Business (WIB) is dedicated to empowering women through meaningful professional development, mentorship opportunities, and initiatives aimed at elevating women in leadership roles. In 2026, WIB will continue to foster growth and connection by hosting dynamic networking events and workshops that inspire collaboration and innovation.

We are committed to creating a lasting impact by supporting and uplifting the women in our local communities, encouraging them to share, lead, and thrive together.

America First Jr. WIB Scholarship Program

The Jr. WIB Scholarship Program awards $1,000 scholarships to female high school seniors attending a public, charter, or private high school within the boundaries of the Canyons and Jordan School Districts. These students are selected for their desire to serve their community and be actively engaged with the South Valley Chamber Women in Business program.

Scholarships are awarded upon completion of the program each year in April.

The application period for 2025 - 2026 is now closed.

Program Requirements

  • Must be a Junior to apply. The program begins your Senior year (2025-2026 school year).
  • Participate in WIB monthly luncheons, usually the 4th Tuesday of each month (11:30am - 1:30pm).
  • Participate in a job shadow opportunity provided by the WIB Committee.
  • Attend WIB Day at the Capitol during the legislative session.
  • Participate in a service project in partnership with the South Valley Chamber.
  • Actively engage with your assigned Women in Business Mentors.
